Long Days and Even Longer Nights

So right now is a hard time for me because here in The South it is harvest time and my husband is a farmer.  I have school all day and then come home and Joel does not get home till late.  So from mid August till October supper is at the earliest 9 pm.  For a southern girl who loves to cook this is torture.  Yes, I could make a meal at 5 and heat it up when my dear husband gets home, but its never as good and by that time I am just ready to get the PJ's on and see what's on TLC or recorded on the DVR!  I guess I can last another month and a half to fix all the nom nom's I enjoy or... I could just eat them and feed him a sandwich!
