About Me

My name is Jessica and I am a 26 yr old college student, studying to be a Social Worker. I have learned over the last couple of years there are things about Social Work you must know, it's not about the money and never become to attached to clients!  I love to help people and something about Social Work drew me in *not the outlook of being a rich woman though*.  A little bit more about me I love crafts, cooking, and I am quite random at times.  I have the most hilarious friends that say and do some of the craziest things and most the time I am right in the middle of it!

I am also married to Joel my wonderful husband of 2 years.  We meet each other 4 years ago when I was taking care of my grandfather and have not been apart since!  He is what made me decide to stay in my small hometown instead of moving to Oxford Mississippi where I had planned on going to school.  You never know what fate has in store for you!

We are the ones on the right.

I also have two wonderful fur babies, most people know them as dogs, but these are my children!  My oldest is Arie she is an Australian Shepard mix and I adopted her 4 years ago from a shelter   And my youngest is Snugs and she is a Golden Retriever mix they are amazing and I would not trade them for the world!

For right now that's my little family but Joel and I are hoping for a baby, although struggling with infertility, and I was hoping that this blog would help be an outlet for all the wonderful/crazy things going on in my life right now.

  1. Hey Jessica! I found you on the southern girl blogging community FB page. We have a lot in common. My animals are my babies too and the husband and I are working on a human baby and having some issues. I am now a follower and look forward to reading along with your journey. Hope you are having a great day! XO, Ema

  3. Hi Jess, Im also a southern belle, however my homeland (Australia) is a little further south than Tennessee :) I have been inspired by bloggers such as yourself sharing their pre-conception journeys and found it really helpful knowing that there are other people going through similar processes. Looking forward to reading more of your posts once the internship has finished.
    Cheers, Louie

  4. Thank you so much for stopping by, and I would definitely say you are a little further south than me! There are so many people going through infertility and I hope to share more about what's going on in the next couple of weeks. I go back to the fertility Dr. Tuesday and hopefully find out some more about the next steps to take. Please stay tuned!
