Hobby Lobby addiction...

So today was so much fun.  Ms. Brittney had to go to Jackson to have her hair done, and invited me along so we could have our coffee date this week.  We went to The Green Frog a lovely little coffee shop in downtown Jackson, and I had one of the most amazing Pumpkin Spice latte's ever *they are a close runner up to Starbucks* and Britt grabbed a Samoa flavored one *she claims they taste just like the Girl Scout cookie*.  We then headed to the salon, 10 mins late of course because Brit is always late.  After we got done chatting it up with the hairdressers about Honey Boo Boo and Duck Dynasty we head to my most guilty pleasure shopping destination... Hobby Lobby.  There is not ever a time I have gone to this store without leaving with at least one craft project.

I  learned about Hobby Lobby during my wedding planning days when I was trying to be a DIY bride.  I think every check out lady knew me by name by the time my wedding day had arrived!  Today I had a project in mind... Ornies!  I ended up with the ornie items, a Christmas gift for my in-laws, and another Christmas project DIY Merry Christmas blocks.  So all in all in all I would say I did not do too bad!  So here are some pictures of the DIY project in progress.

What I hope my "ornie" will resemble when I am done
only in
 more amazing colors!

I guess I should update a little on my Resolutions in Motion goals!  I have downloaded an awesome app. on my Iphone called the YouVersion Bible, so I am able to read on the go.  It even has devotionals in it, and I have started on called "She Reads the Truth".  The devotional is covering Ephesians right now.  I have also started reading Genesis in The Message bible.  So that has been the excitement of my day hope everyone else is having an amazing week!
